Haarlem Organ Paisley Bow Ties

This is the first day of Falllack and that means it’s time to rejuvenate your Fall wardrobe with some new beautiful bow ties!  Today we bring you 5 brand new bow ties that just might become one or more of your new Fall favorites!

These bow ties represent a masterclass in woven design.  The classic teardrop pattern is front and center, but then the eye is attracted to the subtle weave of small squares in the background interspersed with tonal swirls. This variation in weave showcases the intricate teardrops so well and brings the whole pattern together!

The upper left photograph was taken inside St Bavo church in the Dutch city of Haarlem. Behind our Amadeus bow tie is the great Haarlem organ which was the largest organ in the world when built in the 1730's. The organ was so famous that Amadeus Mozart played it at 10 years old to showcase his abilities to the world.

The organ was so well known that Herman Melville compares it to the inside of a whales mouth in his book Moby Dick:

"Seeing all these colonnades of bone so methodically ranged about, would you not think you were inside of the great Haarlem organ, and gazing upon its thousand pipes?"
